Etchings are a centuries old process in which the artist draws the image on a metal plate..  The plate is then put in an acid bath which etches the lines into the metal.  This process can be repeated numerous times.  The plate is then inked and run through the press.  This process allows for multiple prints of the same image, but each is considered an original in its own right.  These prints are usually numbered as an edition and signed by the artist.  Printed on 100% rag paper, these prints will give years of viewing enjoyment.
